ABOUT BODDENS

Smith Barcadere, a.k.a. Smith’s Cove

‘Caymankind’ is in our DNA. It’s in the warm hospitality extended to our clients and the camaraderie enjoyed with our colleagues. It’s ingrained in the culture of the firm, which shares its name with one of Cayman’s most common surnames and the name of the first recorded permanent inhabitant of the Cayman Islands, Isaac Bodden.

Founded in 1999, by Norman Bodden, Lynn Bodden and Sherri Bodden, Bodden Corporate Services Ltd paved the way for the launch of Bodden & Bodden Attorneys-at-Law in 2002. The sister firms have since earned a reputation as experts on all facets of doing business in Cayman.

In early 2019, Dale Crowley, a retired Maples and Calder Partner and a former president of the Caymanian Bar Association, took over ownership of the firms in a friendly acquisition and rebranded as Boddens. Crowley retained the talent and core services that have given both firms a competitive edge over the past two decades.

Today, Boddens is the leading authority on Cayman Islands law, real estate, immigration, trade and business. Our team provides highly personalised legal and corporate services. We take pride in our service excellence and our profound knowledge of one of the world’s top financial jurisdictions, the Cayman Islands.
